Consortium received notification on May 27, 1999 that they had been awarded
a round 3 TIE grant. The project, "Voyage of Discovery", emphasizes
the training of teachers in technology integration techniques. Since
research shows that the most successful training must be hands on and continually
supported, our project is designed to do just that. Using the experts
at Southwest Regional Development Laboratories
(SEDL), the grant proposes to bring the hands-on training right to
our area via distance learning equipment. Delivery of hands-on training
by this method is a new endeavor, but we think that we have a design that
