Interactive Math Sites:  Teachers requested sites where their students could drill basic math skills in a more fun way. Here is what was found.

Fun Brain- There are games for all ages at this web site.  There is also a section where teachers can make online quizzes for their students.

Aplusmath- Basic skills of +, -,X and / a game room, flashcards, math word find puzzles, homework helper

AAAMath-interactive practice

Basketmath-interactive basic skills practice, includes skills of rounding, perimeter, distance, order of operations

Learning Planet-limited access to free drills, subscriptions for expanded service available.

Yahooligans Directory of Math Games-a listing of many other such sites that you can explore.

WebQuests

Webquests: One activity that we have all come to enjoy is a WebQuest.  Here are some sites that have lists of already-constructed WebQuests for all different ages and subjects. WebQuests were developed by Bernie Dodge at San Diego State University so you will see a reference to him on many of these sites.

Learning with Webquests Lists of Webquests developed by teachers-to-be in the Education Department of The University of Richmond

Webquests  as designed by the teachers in the Spartanburg School District

Reading in Content Areas  webquests developed by graduate students at The University of Virginia.

Webquest Collection  This site tries to collect sites that collect webquests. You may see some of the previous sites on this one as well.
